Pineapple is appreciated by everyone and many recipes can be prepared too with it. Here, I am going to share with you the Recipe of Pineapple Mousse. It is a delicious cold dessert and colourful too. Enjoy this fluffy and creamy pineapple dessert.
This mousse has great possibilities as a finale at a party: you can serve it in individual stemmed glasses. It can also be set in a large flat dish and serve in squares or wedges, decorated with cream and cherries or other fresh fruits.
Pineapple Mousse Recipe
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serving: 4 persons
4 sheets of gelatine
50 g of Caster Sugar
1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
1/2 litre of Water
~ Dice and blend the pineapple.
~ Soften the gelatine sheets in cold water.
~ Stir 1/2 litre of water together with the sugar and vanilla over a low heat to make a syrup.
~ Add the pineapple pulp and allow to boil for 15 minutes.
~ Incorporate the gelatine and allow it to thicken over a low heat.
~ Pour the mixture into a loaf tin and leave in the fridge for 2 hours.
~ Take the mousse out and garnish with slices of pineapple.
Note: You can also serve it with custard cream.
