Ingredients500 g Octopus
6 chopped Tomatoes
2 chopped green Chillies
1 tbs Ginger and Garlic Paste
1 chopped Onion
5 Curry Leaves
1 tsp of Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp of Cinnamon Powder
1/2 tsp of Clove Powder
1/2 tsp of Cardamom Powder
1 tbs of Cumin Powder
2 tbs of fresh chopped Coriander Leaves
2 tbs of fresh chopped Spring Onions
1 tbs of Oil
Salt to tasteMethod
~ Wash the octopus well, cut it into small pieces and put it in the pressure cooker to boil until it is cooked.
~ Take it out from the water and put it aside.
~ In a wok, put the oil and add onion.
~ Leave to fry till slightly golden brown.
~ Now, add tomatoes, chillies, garlic and ginger paste, curry leaves, thyme, pepper powder, cinnamon powder, clove powder, cardamom powder, and cumin powder.
~ Leave to cook till the tomatoes are cooked well by stirring continuously.
~ Now, add the octopus, salt and half cup of water.
~ Stir well and leave to cook till the water is dried up.
~ Transfer the octopus mixture in a serving plate.
~ Garnish with spring onions and coriander leaves.
