Coconut Burfi is sweet in taste and it is a combination of fresh grated coconut and milk. This reminds me of my mother who used to prepare it whenever there was a celebration or when guests would be coming at home. It is especially cooked on the Diwali Festival which is the Light Festival in other words. When I was a teenager, I was eager to learn cooking. My interest at that time was mainly for cakes and desserts. My mother used to cook it with cow’s milk as at that time we used to get it in great abundance but nowadays it is very rare.
